Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the pair met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - typically known for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "a joke" after Ngannou declined a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' says he will place on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will hurt Jake Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.
Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul said.
